The Easiest Photo Editing Software

The majority of people love taking photos of themselves, their family, of the nature surrounding them, etc. However, not all smartphones or cameras can give you the quality you want. It might be a little blurry and some colors on the photo might be displayed incorrectly — for example, being too bright or too dull. It’s good if you can catch it at the moment of photographing, but usually, you can assess the photo properly only at home. You can’t re-take a picture, so the only solution is to edit it.

Both professional and beginner photographers edit their photos to make them more realistic or to give them a certain look. In our technological world, there are a lot of programs that can help you easily edit your pics. Some of them are designed for smartphones and can only be downloaded via Play Market/App Store. Others are more classical — for example, computer editing software. It’s usually a lot more multifunctional and most photographers choose to edit their photos through it.

Adobe Photoshop

Adobe Photoshop must be the easiest and most popular program for editing photos. The first version of this program was released in 1988 and many people continue to use it now. You can get Photoshop for 30$ per month and download it both on Windows and MacOS. It has an incredibly intuitive interface, meaning that you can understand how to work with it without additional instructions. There is also a trial version, so you can use Photoshop for 1 month for free and see for yourself if you like it.

With Photoshop, you can easily crop, remove objects, adjust, retouch, and even repair old photos, quite simply at that. Photoshop offers many professional photography tools that will help you do anything you want with your photo. Also, you can draw with the help of the special tools designed for illustrators. Despite the fact that the price of this program isn’t that small, it’s definitely worth it, especially if you are going to use Photoshop often.

Snapseed

Snapseed is a photo editor for smartphones. It was created in 2011 by Nik Software, but 1 year later, Google bought this company and released the Android version of the app. Nowadays, Snapseed is one of the most useful and easiest photo editors, especially if you edit your photos for sites like Instagram. It’s free and it has more than 50 million downloads as it’s usually a number 1 choice among the beginners.  It allows you to do the following:

  • Crop pics;
  • Adjust the image as you like it;
  • Set white balance;
  • Remove unnecessary objects from the photo;
  • Add different filters and blurs.

Both programs are extremely easy. If you’re just starting and take most of your photos with your smartphone to post them in your blog, you should definitely use Snapseed as it offers great quality and functions that are easy to understand. If you’re interested in photography on a more professional level, though, Adobe Photoshop software will suit you most.
